Repping Big Rock, One Workout at a Time

Big Rock Machining Chris CrossFit

At Big Rock Machining (BRM), we’re proud of what we build in the shop, but we're just as proud of the people who build it. Recently, our leader, Chris Soule, shared a piece of life outside of work: his love for CrossFit.

If you’re not familiar, CrossFit is a training program built around constantly varied, high-intensity workouts that combine elements of weightlifting, cardio, and gymnastics. It’s all about building strength, endurance, and mental toughness—qualities that feel right at home here at Big Rock.

Whenever Chris travels, he makes it a point to find a local CrossFit gym, jump into a class, and keep up the momentum. On a recent trip to California for the ProShop conference, Chris dropped into a local CrossFit gym rocking his BRM t-shirt mid-WOD (that’s CrossFit speak for “Workout of the Day”).

Chris isn’t usually one to post about personal things. But part of what makes Big Rock strong is the people behind the scenes—their commitment, their drive, and their dedication to showing up and doing the work, day in and day out. CrossFit just happens to be one of the ways Chris keeps sharpening that mindset.

Discipline, focus, teamwork—whether it's in the gym or in the shop, it all comes down to putting in the work and staying true to the process.

We love seeing our team members carry Big Rock values with them, wherever they go. Thanks for setting the example, Chris!

I’m on a mission to help job shops crush their marketing by building them a Radical brand that’s authentic to who they are and magnetic to those they want to attract.

My process empowers them to market their businesses simply and effectively without spending a fortune or wasting countless hours on social media.

Sharp, Shiny & Magnetic is how I operate. I believe that whatever energy you put out into the world, it has a ripple effect that consumes you and everyone around you, so I’m committed to making it the good kind.

I use my shiny disposition and sharp wit to help you source and shape your METAL–the stuff that makes your shop magnetic to the kinds of humans you want to have around you. I ask hard questions and go deep with my customers so that I can not only build them a Radical brand but help them OWN it and recognize their own Radicalness.
