Starting in May, we took another step forward. We’re proud to launch Paperless Parts, a platform designed to help us quote faster, more accurately, and with even stronger attention to the details that matter most to our clients’ projects.
A Smarter Way to Manage RFQs
Handling RFQs quickly and consistently is critical to keeping projects moving. Before Paperless Parts, requests could come through personal emails, the sales inbox, customer portals, or our website—making it harder to prioritize and track every opportunity efficiently.
With Paperless Parts, every RFQ flows into a single, organized dashboard. Each request automatically gets a received date and a priority level, ensuring that we respond in the right order and nothing falls through the cracks. This system allows us to manage our quoting process with greater visibility and consistency, keeping timelines on track.
Drawings, models, and supporting documents are automatically attached to each RFQ inside the platform. This means our team always has immediate access to the critical information needed to review projects thoroughly and accurately. It also builds a clear reference trail for future collaboration, helping eliminate communication gaps along the way.
Smarter, Faster Quoting with AI
We know that precision starts long before a part hits the shop floor—it starts at the quote.
As part of our adoption of Paperless Parts, we’re putting a new tool to work: Wingman, an AI-driven assistant built specifically for manufacturers. Wingman helps us review drawings and models more thoroughly by highlighting key features that impact how a part is made. It calls out tight tolerances, thin walls, deep pockets, critical finishes, and other design elements that might require extra planning or specialty processes.
It also helps identify material specifications and any external processing needs upfront so that we can build a complete, accurate quote the first time. By integrating Wingman into our quoting process, we can spot potential challenges earlier, communicate requirements more clearly, and ultimately deliver a quote that reflects exactly what a project needs—no surprises, no gaps.
